It felt strange being back home after all this time. It was only a couple of years ago that Alexis was setting out to explore the world for the very first time in her life, looking to hone her skills and to become the warrior that was spoken about in the legend of Arix. Fallon Square has become the center of the refugee population. The destruction of Lllin saw the remains of the population travel either here or to Jerico but with the recent attacks in Jerico by Abyss the refugees began to flee here, to her hometown for a safe place to stay away from the Abyss that threatened to swallow everything whole.
To sum up Alexis task here it was to take care of the refugees. She knew this city like the back of her hand so offering assistance to new-comers who didn't know their way around the city wasn't hard. When her services weren't required Alexis returned to the place she grew up and trained out in the backyard to keep her skills sharp. Sooner or later she would be tugged into the battle. It was only a matter of time now. Evening was fast approaching as the sun began a slow decent down across the sky. Alexis chose this time to begin her patrols as she walked through the city's streets keeping her weapons concealed as not to make anybody passing her by uneasy and it was a good way to catch a troublemaker off guard if they didn't think she was carrying any weapons. As the blond soldier walked she wondered when she would be call to battle. When she would have to raise her sword in the air and draw blood.

He was a master of manipulating the areas around him to his advantage, as were many of his kind. Illion moved between the rows unseen following Alexis very closely, his footsteps didn't make a sound and even while staring right at him many saw right through him as if the light contorted around him. His pressence was feint.
A shrill whisper in Alexis's ear, he loomed over her with his massive yet frail frame, "These people are bound to die soon. Helping them is a worthless cause, but still, a good one. The paladin army is soon to advance on the Abyss, and when it happens, you may want to stand with them."

Alexis came to a stop once she heard the voice, turning her head to look up at her appointed Judgment.
"I won't let these people die," came Alexis reply.
A bold statement but she wasn't going to let any innocents here go without a fight. They didn't deserve anything that was happening to them, at least not in her mind. Her thoughts went back to what he said about the paladin army.
"Then stand with them I shall. How soon do they make their advance?"

His hand hovered over one of the sickly pulsing energy to and from his palm. Her query was a good one, and one he didn't know the answer to. With his uncanny ability he tapped into the sick humans nervous system which tapped into the one next to him and the one next to him, continuing on and on and on in the matter of seconds until he could feel the paladins.
He couldn't tap into the paladins but he could hear them now, "The Abyss have set a dragon like creature on Jerico, its a matter of time before they attack here. I believe we should force an attack very soon. Begin gathering the Knights..."
The Judgment looked to Alexis, "Very soon, I believe you may want to do some scouting and ask them for questions to learn more."

"Very well."
And so she scouted. The paladins patrolled these streets often, with everything as "intense" as they were around here it was a necessary so it wouldn't be too long before spotting one of them to question. The Abyss have yet to attacked this place but Alexis knew it was only a matter of time before they tried. The paladins planning to make an advance on them sounded like their way of beating the Abyss to the inevitable. Her eyes caught sight of one of the on duty paladins up yonder and she approached him.
"Excuse me, sir may I have a moment of your time?"

The Paladin was dressed in a white long coat and sported armored plates in the chest area, the shoulders, and the knees. Under the coat was a pair of gauntlets and at his side was a holy hammer. He simply nodded to Alexis when she asked him the question.
On the opposite side of the city the Judgment did his own scouting, tapping into the nervous systems again to seek out and hear the voices of the leaders. To scout out the gathering army. The price was the death of the elderly woman he had within his arms, but she was close to the end of her life as was.

"It's my understanding there are plans to advanced on the Abyss set in place?"
No point beating around the bush and taking up the man's time any further than it needed to be taken.

Said paladin gave her a stupid look. He obviously wasn't part of the plans for the look on his face made it obvious. But he responded anyways, "The Abyss aren't going to attack here, they would be foolish. And we're not about to advance on anyone, who got this in your head girl?"
The Judgment stalked the rooftops above and easily infiltrated behind the guard Alexis was talking to into the courtyard they were patrolling. He almost glides close to the ground as he enters the large estate behind them.

Alexis frowned, a dead end but it couldn't be helped.
"Forgive me it's seem I've fallen victim to rumor. I'll bother you no further."
Alexis bowed her head in a show of respect before walking away and continuing to scout the area on her own.

The Judgment felt through the area and Alexis heard his voice as if it was close to her, "The tower beyond the guards. There's a war room. Meet me there." He continued to glide up the stairs slowly avoiding the eye of the Paladins as he passed them, looking only like a shadowed minister.
