"I don't think so... ahh here we go." there was some odd sounds from the cave up ahead but soon Joshua returned with a large stick wrapped in cloth. "Will this do?" He tossed the makeshift torch to Tori and then started to tap the wall with his clawed, metal hand. "now that you've got a torch and the big, bad, scary dark cave isn't so scary anymore, care to start following me through here? Or should I leave you and your remarkably patient friend to get lost in here?"

"Don't get fresh with me. I'll shoot my way right through that mask of yours if you do." Tori used the lighter to light stick, as the flames now burned and cast its light against the entrance of the cavern Tori gave the lighter back to Zira and entered the cave, knowing that Sergent Sparks wouldn't be too far behind. "Lead."

"ooh, touchy. Yes, Your Highness." He quickly moved down the corridor, the light showing the dust clinging to his clothes, showing the dried and badly painted mask, and showing him leading the way down the caves, they did seem to stretch on for a while, with many side-paths branching off. "Step lively and watch out for weak spots, the floor could cave away under you if you're not careful. And mind your friend, she's too quiet and you won't notice if she falls or anything." He laughed softly as he moved down the tunnels.

As Joshua led Tori, Tori would lead Zira. "Don't fall," she said quietly to Zira. Joshua was giving her the creeps and honestly she was looking for any reason the person may give her to just shoot her. But for now she kept her cool. Eyes and ears open, minding her surroundings while moving forward.

If it took this long just to get through the entrance Zira wasn't looking forward to how long it'd take to get through the actual cave. Zira stayed close to Tori not wanting to venture too far away as the flames from the torch was the only thing casting light on an otherwise pit of darkness. Don't fall? You didn't have to tell her twice. If there were weak spots in the floor she would be watching each and every step like a hawk.

"watch your step up ahead, ladies." Joshua gave a small leap, more of a playful gesture than anything else. There was, however, a rather large hole directly in the center of the passage, leading down into unending blackness.
"I don't know what caused it but there are a good many holes in the ground, as well as some false side-paths that lead into a rather large catacomb below. Spikes too, I believe. You gotta have spikes if you have seemingly bottomless death pits." He laughed quite hard then turned to Zira and Tori, walking backwards as he spoke. "it could be worse, there could be a vast expanse of scorching hot sand all around us, hahaha! Either way you'll have to watch your
He vanished, falling before their eyes instantly.
...step! Hahahahahaha!" Joshua pulled himself back up out of the hole he'd fallen through with ease, his clawed hand leaving marks in the dirt. "See? Always got to pay attention, but it's so hard when you two are so beautiful, can't help but look at the girls, eh? Hehehehe..." He chuckled, as it talking entirely to himself, leading the girls on and pointing out dead ends and false paths as he went, as if not even caring if they followed him.

After the Dead Lands there were the Dune Sea a place renowned for it's black sand, dangerous caverns and lost cities. She walked in one of the caverns now, a place where it felt like the ground was ready to crack and send you falling into a black abyss. It was hard enough for a person who could see to travel through.
For the blind it was considered suicide.
Yet The Blind Assassin had no trouble at all making her way through the cavern, following the scent of the hunted that escaped her clenches back in the Dead Lands. The Serpent and Spider Queen. Their battle saw Fukari force the woman into a retreat but still she lived to spread her filth through the world. Up ahead Fukari could smell the scent of three people and sensed a nearby demonic energy while the others were human. Among them somebody who haven't taken a bath in days and had a familiar and horrible stench about them.
The stench of Maricul.
Here she stood before them now, clad in bright red, bandages on her eyes visible. On the way to them she heard the voice of the man leading them. Facing the male Fukari only had one thing to say in regards to his presence.
"Freak."

"Agreed," replied Tori bluntly. Wasn't everyday you agreed with a stranger, but oh well. Wasn't everyday you met somebody like Zira, or Joshua and then traveled in a cave together. Holding up the torch the flames light shined over Fukari's position. Tori noticed her form and the bandages covering her eyes. Blind but the woman held herself well it seems. "Friend or foe?" Hopefully friend. Tori didn't feel like getting into a firefight in a cave.

The sooner they got out of here the better. When Joshua had appeared to have fallen Zira's eyes widened in horror. About ready to go after him foolishly until he revealed that he was ok. How could anybody joke about something like that? It nearly gave Zira a heart attack and she feared how they would be able to make it through here without his guide.
That wouldn't be the end of it either. Zira saw another person through the darkness and the flames coming from Tori's torch allowed Zira to see her a bit more clearly. Unsure what to make of this stranger Zira stayed by Tori's side. Ready to draw her crossbow if need be.

"Foe, and a rude one at that." Joshua crossed his arms, tilting his head and staring at the newcomer. "how did a blind brunette bumble into my bungalow?" He'd have to remember to try and say that five times fast when this was over. He had an expression of disgust under his mask, but then again he had a lot of stuff under his mask. "and what do YOU want in my caves? You heading the same way as my associates here?"

"Neither."
Fukari attention went on the brunette, taking another sniff of her scent and absorbing it. The Spider Queen had a field day with this one, not leaving one square inch of the woman untouched. Moving forward The Blind Assassin cut the gap between them quickly, standing two feet in front of Tori now.
"You reek of the dead."
Fukari looked right at Tori when she said it so there could be no mistake who she were speaking to. The other two would go ignored.
"Undead."

Tori didn't know what to make of this girl yet. So far she was getting on Josh's nerves and that was making Tori like her. But there was something about her that made the Commander uneasy. Something that brought her guard up the closer The Blind Assassin got to her. Now Tori could see her as clear as day and when she started talking again, flashes of being raped flashed through her mind and Tori ended up bringing the torch forward pushing her back, the flames on it threatening to burn across the woman's skin if Fukari dared to take another step. "Back off."

Neither? What the hell was that supposed to mean? Friend or foe in that context is pretty straight forward. Either you're not a threat or you are so how can you be neither? Zira didn't like this woman and it seemed like she wasn't the only one. The more she talked the more confused Zira was about what was going on. Tori reeked like the dead? How so? What did she mean by that? Were she referring to the Abyss? These were the moments where Zira wished she didn't have a vow of silence, that she was worthy to speak again so she could ask these questions. But all she could do was wait and watch the course of events unravel.

"Neither doesn't answer any- Hey?" Joshua was shunted aside by the newcomer, left scowling indignantly at the three of them. He fell quiet though, this conversation seemed interesting, albeit very brief and frank. He stood next to Zira, not wanting to get directly involved in this, wanting to wait to see what happens with these three. Smells of Undead? What an odd blind woman wandering these caves...
Joshua fell completely silent, a welcome change for him as he observed the two women before him, the torchbearer was brandishing her torch at the blind stranger, very interesting indeed.

Fukari could feel the heat of the flames, the sounds of them wanting to scorch her but she didn't so much as flinch at their presence. The Blind Assassin demeanor never changed.
"Relax."
She backed up to show that her intentions were not one to cause trouble for them, if nothing else. Right now her only interests was finding the Spider Queen and finishing what she started.
"You and I have an enemy in common. The Spider Queen of Jherra."
