The sun has risen into the sky shinning its lights down on the black desert. Maricul had avoided its rays of shinning death by taking refuge in one of the many caves occupying The Dune Sea. Leaning against a cave wall deep within the cavern she closed her eyes, her powers still at work healing the wounds left behind by The Blind Assassin back in The Dead Lands. No thanks to the Headache her investigations had been halted, if only for a short time. Going onward would be suicide now until these wounds were healed. Thoughts of revenge, thoughts of paying the woman back for defeating her would all be pushed aside as she had her priorities set on more important things than revenge. For now.
Maricul had removed her blue trench coat, her sleeveless black shirt and pants more visible now as her eyes reopened and she stared out into the darkness of the cave blankly. The fight from earlier replaying in her mind. Trying to figure out what it was that made her lose. That woman had the battle in the palm of her hand for half of the battle, and just when she thought she had turned the table in her favor, The Blind Assassin pulls off a miracle and fucks her over with one move.
"Bitch."

"It seems, you are the bitch," said an echo not within the realm of the cavern but in the skull of Maricul. It was familiar, maybe a distant memory to her from long ago. A horse neighed from the far end of the cave, possibly from outside of it. "You're a worthless bitch at that. You should be standing proud with that blood in your veins. You should of gutted that whore."

The vampiress jumped up to her feet, on instinct Maricul drew both the 9mm Bloodlust and 11mm Blessing while looking around the darkness. No that came from inside her head but the cause of the voice had to be somewhere. She could smell the horse from outside--- Wait that voice.
"It couldn't be..."
Maricul mumbled those words and didn't move a muscle, other than turning around to keep taps on her surroundings.
"Could it? Show yourself!"

(can't reply on msn btw)
Metal foot steps echoed through out the entire cavern, the darkness swelled and thousands of eyes opened around Maricul thinning out as the man appeared before her. He was dressed just as he was an hour ago after leaving the battle with the Angel of Deception. A surrounding of dark beings wrapped themselves around him. Some even stood by his side now a legion of dark beings fading into the darkness itself.
"It's been a while."

Maricul turned to face the sound of the metal footsteps. If her heart was able to beat it would have skipped a couple at the sight of the eyes surrounding her. The brown eyes of the vampiress now fell on the very man who created her, the man who bore the reign of The Serpent and left her for dead soon after making a monster out of her.
"It's been a while? That's all you can say?"
Her body was shaking from anger and fear, especially the arms that held the pistols though she didn't have them aimed on the male yet, but if she had to she had to.
"You left me to die in a pit of wolves, you bastard!"

His face stayed cool and relaxed at the raise of her voice, he simply replied back to her in a very calm voice, "You still live, get over it." The shadows that stood around the Spokesman of Insanity stepped from the shadows all around them occupying wall space easily.
"You should be ashamed with the condition you're in."

Maricul wanted to strangle the man, yeah she knew it wouldn't work on the account he was a vampire but it'd make her feel better. She was smarter than that however, to submit to such an urge and even try. He was stronger and even if he wasn't in her current shape she could be subdue easily. This just wasn't her day. First a crazy blond she tried to get information from gives her a hard time, then The Blind Assassin and now this.
"My condition will pass. Why are you here? What do you want?"

"Show me some damn respect bitch," he growled at her and the cavern shook at the sound of his voice, the darkness bowed in closer to her now. But that small trip of anger passed at the disobedient tongue of the wench. A smile crossed his face briefly, "You're weak, like the other just like you, yet I show favoritism even over you. You're going to take that broken body of yours and learn some fuckin' honor. What kind of vampire are you?"

Maricul couldn't move her body anymore, not even able to shake in her fear now that she was paralyzed by his mere presences. The darkness was moving in closer and she couldn't move to do anything, even mount up some kind of defense. No she just stood there with her guns at her side barely able to speak at this point.
"I don't understand you," her voice shook. It was apparent she was choosing her words more wisely at this point but she had no idea how to respond to his question. "You left and haven't been in my life for centuries. Why do you show interest in me now?"

"I left because I have a greater purpose in life than to teach shit like you. Besides, you try being stuck in a trunk for the better half of a couple thousand years and see how much you get done. Though, that was recently, as opposed to your 'creation," he waved his hand calling the shadows off, "You are kin, and possibly the only one stubborn enough to not bow to my presence. You are hard headed enough to listen and take to heart when I call you a worthless piece of shit.
"Then you claw your way out of despair and become whole again, and more powerful."

After the darkness was called away Maricul could bring her limbs to move. It felt like a sharp blade being cut through her flesh as he called her worthless, as if his tongue was a sword. She didn't fully understand why his words carried so much weight towards her as she barely knew him. Or was it as simple as them being kin? It felt all too familiar. Still she felt the need to defend herself.
"I...I'm not worthless. I've stood strong in Jherra for ages. I'm the Lieutenant of the strongest army there. The right hand of The Crimson Army. One loss doesn't make me a worthless piece of shit."
Does it?

"One loss, to a blind person," he bluntly says and walks toward her, "But being undefeated doesn't mean shit when you don't fight anything worth noting. The Black Hand is among us, they watch our every move, they wait for you to slip up then slice your throat. I have just come from fighting the Matron of Deception, we have shifted the sands and come to equal terms, she travels to destroy the paladins, she is an admirable foe.
"You on the other hand, are worthless. So stand up straight and raise that weapon."

Every step he took forward she took about two steps back until she was pressed up against the cave wall. Nowhere left to go now as she forced herself to keep eye contact, though deep down inside she wanted to look away. Deep down inside she wanted to be anywhere but here. Her stubbornness would show itself more as she continued to try to disprove claims of being worthless.
"The woman has overcame her blindness and her other senses are now stronger because of it. She was able to set the entire field in her favor, keep up with my speed, my strength and even use soldiers of the Abyss as pawns in her advance she isn't anyone to take lightly. I couldn't even hear, see or feel the silver grenade she sneaked in my pocket! You go find her and do better if you think she's so easy."
Hear? Well she couldn't hear anything period by that point because of the Sonic Grenade that made her deaf for the remainder of the battle but no way in hell was she telling him that. Wait what was he talking about now? Black Hand? Matron of Deception? None of them ring any bells but if they were exclusive to this continent then of course she never heard of them. Though all thoughts about them soon left her mind the moment he called her worthless again.
"I'm not worthless!"
She finally stood up straight, both the 9mm Bloodlust and 11mm Blessing deadlock on the male.
"I'M NOT!"
This time it'd be her voice that shook the cave, but in her current state she didn't even realized she has drawn that kind of power, she didn't even knew she possessed that kind of power.

"YOU ARE!" He roared out stopping when her weapon was pressed firmly against his head. "You've allowed yourself to simply work off of human physics! You've allowed yourself to be succumbed to a blind enemy because you are too incompetent to face her like a real vampire!"
He pressed harder against her weapon glaring those black eyes into hers, "Do I have to shred your life away and rebuild you from scratch?! Do I have to re-lecture you in the art of being a true vampire? I thought you were of my finest breed, bitten straight from the Spokesman of Insanity himself, WHY ARE YOU NOT INSANE!?"

The barrel of the 11mm Blessing was now pressed up against the Spokesman forehead as much as it could be no thanks to him. He showed no fear towards the weapon, no fear towards something designed to kill things like him. Maricul wanted to pull back on the trigger but fear kept her from doing so as that caused her to shake, the Blessing's pressed up against him now shaking as a result.
"Re-lecture? You never taught me anything! You left me to die remember!? Everything I know about being a vampire I had to teach myself! I didn't have a master, anybody to show me the way. IT'S YOUR FAULT I'M WEAK!"
Maricul pushed him back with her own darkness, still quite oblivious to the high levels of power she has been releasing in this encounter.
