The task of finding this "blind assassin" proved to be most difficult. Lamia had questioned several refuges through the ruins of the Dead Sea after they executed fail attempts at ambushing her for any items she possessed and they all turned up empty. Finally there was but one method Lamia had left in order to discover this "blind assassin" and bring her to the Spider Queen.
"Reperio mihi, caecus assassin!"
Her legs began to move on their own accord, the spell had worked and already Lamia was being led to the location of the blind assassin, wherever it may be. Soon it would be time to meet this person who has the Spider Queen scorn.

Fukari had given in to her demon urges and there she stood in the middle of the lost city of the black desert, human blood stained her clothes, her face and the bandages around her eyes. Corpses laid out all around her in a circle of death, sliced to pieces by the now crimson blade in her right hand.
No mercy.
The Blind Assassin licked the blood off her blade, the demon deep down inside having being sated even if just for a short time. Each body that laid out in piles around her was that of an innocent. They did not deserve the forced death that rained down upon them, but it happened and their souls were at peace now. Fukari attention soon left the corpses as her ears and nose sensed the incoming woman heading to her position, soon she would be in seeing distance of The Blind Assassin.
Poor girl took a wrong turn.
The Blind Assassin stepped forward with her sword back in it sheath but her hand never leaving the hilt. Standing before the stranger with her head held high she spoke in the tongue of her devil brothers. The language of her people.
"Wre ghet drot?"

"The blind assassin I presume."
The spell wore off and Lamia was in control of her legs once again.
"Speak proper English. There is a time and a place for foreign tongues."
Lamia tapped into the earth around her, becoming one with her surroundings as she could now see and feel the landmines the woman had planted all around them, setting the entire field to her advantage but thanks to this trick Lamia would know where to step and where not to step avoiding the traps altogether.
"You've set the field to your will but I can see all of your traps."

Not bad. The woman held the ability to become one with her surroundings, one with the earth. How else could she feel the traps set all around the area, awaiting for a foolish wandering to be consumed by their power? This meant nothing however.
"Just because you can see them doesn't mean you'll be able to stop them."
Suddenly robotic tentacles broke up from the ground, four in number each one wrapping around a limb tightly to hold Lamia in place as Fukari drew her Katana.
"It will only make you more frustrated when they catch you."
The Blind Assassin charged aiming to slash open the stomach of the cloaked woman.

The tentacles were long but thin and narrowed. It was like something straight out of Yesabelle but Lamia didn't show any fear as it appeared the blind assassin still possessed the early advantage. But appearances were deceiving. First to stop the target current charge.
"INPOTENS, CRURA!"
Fukari would feel her legs begin to wobble uncontrollably.
"INPOTENS, DIGITORUM!"
The blind assassin fingers would become like jelly making wielding that katana impossible. The witch wasn't done there.
"INPOTENS, ANIMO!"
With that spell Fukari mental processes would be seriously affected as now there were the metal tentacles to attend to. This required no incantation a simple spell that deactivated the trap and the tentacles released their grip on the witch. Lamia stretched out her right hand and said:
"Reperio mihi, detonator."
The detonator to the traps would come flying to her hand as she slipped it into her robes.
"Can't have you setting your traps off manually now can I?"

It all happened so suddenly there was hardly any time to react. The Blind Assassin's legs turned against her, halting her charge as then her fingers could no longer keep the Katana in their grasp, dropping the holy blade and then the worst of all occurred.
Fukari couldn't think properly.
There was no time to think but The Blind Assassin still had her instincts and that was something the witch couldn't take away but it proved difficult yet not impossible for Fukari to keep standing in the midst of all this wobbling. Once the detonator was snatched up the defense mechanism inside went off and the detonator exploded in Lamia's hand as she was tucking it away in her pocket with enough power to take off her hand.

A cry of pain echoed across the lost city as the right hand of the witch fell to the black sand. Blood splattering from the wound of where her hand once was, bringing her other hand by reflex to grasp the source of all her pain and try to stop the bleeding. Grunts of pain passed through her lips now as she staggered about.

The cries of agony were lovely.
An opening have presented itself and Fukari wasn't about to let it slip away. The Blind Assassin had overcame handicaps before and these would be no different. Wobbling legs, fingers like jelly and the disability to think things through clearly wouldn't keep her at bay forever and rising above her handicaps Fukari wobbled right towards her opponent as once she closed in....
Fukari moved to backhand the bitch.

This would take more than simple healing magic to fix and Lamia didn't have the time, but there was a way around it. Defensive dark magic acting quickly a new hand replaced the old, not one of flesh but one of solid steel and when the blind assassin wobbled her way towards Lamia with the backhand the witch ducked and came back up with an uppercut to the jaw, a mixture of the steel hand and magic increasing her strength would not only threaten to break her jaw but send her flying into the air on impact.

Fukari felt her jaw snap as she was sent flying through the air. In that moment while there was nothing underneath her but air the previous spells wore off, the mind cleared as her hands and feet moved on their own accord again. Coming down her hands pushed off against the black sand and she back flipped away from the witch, picking up the fallen Katana after landing and going into a defensive stance. A sick grin of demonic origins now apparent on human features.
"Noch schlechtt."
The Blind Assassin quickly snapped her jaw back in place.
"Who do you represent, witch?"

"The Spider Queen of Jherra. You're coming with me."
In all this excitement the blind assassin forgot where she was standing, right between two sonic grenades she had dug into the ground. The same way she deactivated the last trap would be how she activated this one. Both sonic grenades went off around her not only threatening to shatter her eardrums but to stun her at least long enough for Lamia to perform her next move.
"Luminarium sicco!"
A small white orb of energy shot out from her hand towards the blind assassin and would cause her to lose consciousness on impact.

"She sent a lackey to do her dirty work?"
There was disappointment in her voice but it was soon replaced by amusement. Then there was the witch's next assault but Fukari didn't forget about the Sonic Grenades she left here, quite the opposite. The Blind Assassin already deafen herself so the Sonic Grenades would have no effect, but the smoke that rise up from the smoke grenades she just dropped would cover her form and as the spell came it would be blocked by a means the witch couldn't see.
The smoke traveled and so did she, sheathing and resheathing her sword as several quick combos would hit Lamia like Fukari was right in her face but she was still making her advance. The smoke was thick enough to hide all her movements and attacks from the eyes of the witch.

Lamia was knocked back by the combos but it was only a minor setback in the grand scheme of things and the witch wasn't about to wait for that smoke to subside on it's own. With the wave of her hand a great wind picked up and blew the smoke aside to reveal the blind assassin who had shurikens crafted by her own demon energies spinning around her acting as a shield, no doubt the reason her spell was blocked before.
When the blind assassin got closed the witch absorbed the demonic magic into her body, enduring the pain that came with draining away demon energy, breaking through the shield and weaving around the blade so she could once again cast Luminarium Sicco but this time at point blank range.

Lamia forced her way through Fukari's demonic energy in quick fashion and The Blind Assassin would've been impressed if there was time to be, but the call of battle only gave time to react to the other fighter's moves. As the second Luminarium Sicco came another set of demonic enchanted shurikens spun around her acting as a shield since there were no time to dodge and then they all shot up into the air and rained down upon the head of the witch as Fukari forced forward thrusting the Katana deeply into the chest of the witch.

"Vindico!"
A magical barrier appeared above her head blocking the incoming shurikens and then she repeated this spell using that same barrier to block the thrusting attempt and allow her the chance to counter attack.
"Refrigero!"
The blind assassin katana would go flying out of her hand as the disarming spell took effect.
"Austerus!"
Soon the blind assassin would find herself immobile as her entire body became rigid.
