"Yion, take Stolas's weapon, I wish for it to be studied," Cyris scanned the area with her eyes and looked to the left where she raised her hand at the building and pulled toward the street where the Abyss had come from. The building cracked on its base then tumbled like a tree into the street throwing dust up into the air but blocking off a vital access point for the Abyss to once again counter attack.
Yion took both blades and combined them back into once lance and moved back toward camp. Cyris and Exion made their way back to Alex and Daikus. She looked at Alex and nodded, “I had feared the worse, I figured you had been consumed by the Inanis. It was good though to hear from the scouts that you were coming back.” Exion kept a steady gaze at Daikus through his silver mask.
Cyris looked away from Alex and nodded to Daikus as well, “I’ve been told you were to arrive, I am Cyris Darkbroode, Hierarchy of the Ajerians.” She extended her hand to him.

"It was a close one. He did a number on me and killed a couple of our men. But he was heading toward the Abyss camps when we escaped." Alex sheathed his machete and wiped the blood off his face with a cloth from his jacket. "Also, I'd like to note, the Legion of the Damned is here, or at least one of their Lieutenants."
Exion looked to Alex, "We know. Patrick and the Spokesman announced their arrival to us. Patrick unleashed the insanity within the streets and left." Alex nodded to him. "Verywell."

Daikus was in a bit of a shock before he was snapped back to the real world by Cyris' words. "Name's Daikus. I kinda of don't have a legacy that can be matched up to here..." He took her extended hand and shook it. His thoughts raced back to his world of origin and how before he left they were currently dealing with the abyss as well. He hoped in the least his father would've been enough to handle them... cause if not then they were all fucked back there.
He caught himself spacing out and let go of her hand after shaking his head, "Sorry, got some other things on my mind..."

“It’s fine.” She looked at Exion, “I’m true to my word and my threats, gather the elite guard. Sweep the surrounding area for Abyss camps and annihilate them and their Lieutenants. If you run across a General decapitate them and bring me their head, I’ll personally deliver it to the Shackled Lord. Excuse me, to Amon. I’ve a personal debt to pay to him now that he caught me off guard.”
Exion bowed his chest, “Yes milady.” His massive frame moved to the camp. Cyris nodded to Daikus and motioned for him to follow, “I hope you don’t mind, the Camp is a mess from our recent retreat from the Inanis. Feel free though to settle into one of the cots used by our human members. I can also arrange for you dinner and drinks if you’re hungry.”

Alex followed Exion gathering the men to go to war. "Exion, you saw what the Inanis did back there. If you face him, retreat. He cannot be killed, I put my machete into his skull and not a single drop of blood was spilled."
"It'll be fine. I've been making tactics for war long before you were born. This Inanis will be avoided," Exion said looking over to Cyris, "We all know what happened five thousand years ago. This being killed the strongest of us, we're to avoid him."

He nodded, "Don't worry, I'm used to sleeping in worse places." He listened in on the conversation while plucking ultima from the ground and looking at it, Truth be told... "I hate this thing..." He got after conquering the remnants of what remained in the underworld, his 'crown' as some would say... he it was heavy, bulky, and lacked the fine tuning of a Devil Arm. He must've been spoiled from when he wielded his dad's blade, "What I wouldn't give to have Rebellion right now..." He muttered to himself before sheathing the blade on his back.
"I'm prolly gonna need a history lesson about this place before the day's done... Still not used to hearing the 'Rockstar of hell' spoken of in past tense..." He started to walk along with Cyris.

“Well. It’s determined that Arix was born about ten thousand years ago. Where he was crowned as ruler to the throne of Castillia without a formal agreement. So instead his uncle took the throne and cast him to the darkness. It was there that Alvion took him in and raised him in the underworld of Castillia. When Arix was old enough to drink and swear he went to war with his uncle. And in a one sided battle he retook Castillia for his own.” She stopped briefly to exchange something from her pocket to the lady cooking who in return handed her a couple bowels of food. Cyris handed one over to Daikus.
She continued on walking into the large tent in the middle of the camp, “Castillia was at war already with Halmar. Halmar sent a force against Arix when they thought Castillia was weak. They hadn’t expected the Judgment though who tore their army apart. Arix was feared. He eventually matured and left the god city of Castillia to pursue in other lands. Praven was only a small port town at the time, he took a ship from there and traveled the lands with a small guard of Judgment and Alvion.
“When he arrived in the Desert lands to the North East he was greeted with a war between the Remnants of the Damned and the Abyss army. The Damned back then had conquered the entire continent and sent massive armies to face the Abyss. But their armies were cut to pieces by Amon,” she started sipping off her soup. “Arix knew he was clearly outmatched but went head in anyways. He joined the Damned and fought against the Abyss, they called him the white haired devil. Amon employed Be’lakor, the Keeper. Whom beat Arix down and nearly killed him ruining his name in the eyes of the Abyss.
“Alvion bound to Arix and created the monster that lead the Ajerian army. At the time though he was still a Damned grunt. But it changed the tide of battle. Arix was thought dead by the Abyss and the Damned. It didn’t take long for him to make the ground quake as he killed sixteen of the generals in the Abyss army the first night he gained his power,” she paused to sip off the soup, “The Damned accepted him as a high ranking member for his contribution.
“The war between the Abyss and the Damned continued on for what could be described as forever. The leader of the Damned was immortal he accepted Arix as he co-leader until Be’lakor killed him and Arix took lead of the Damned. The Abyss continued to win the war though, regardless of how many Arix killed. Little did they know, Be’lakor and Amon were about to annihilate the Damned.
“Arix sent word to the Judgment though. The tide of battle changed as they came heeding his call along with the Ajerian Damien Latest. Arix ate away at the Abyss army killed their top generals, wrecked Be’lakor, and when Amon faced him, he stuffed all of Amons energy up his ass and sent him back to the underworld and sealed him away.”
“Time went slowly, the Damned and Ajerians lived side by side. Arix was known as the God King of the World. Inanis suddenly arrived in the world and Arix faced him one on one. Weeks of fighting and what you faced was thought to be losing until Arix fell to a knee. You and Alex couldn’t phase the Inanis from what I ganded from Alex. Arix ripped him apart, left him in pieces only for the Inanis to continue to fight him and absorb at his energy. He ripped Arix apart in the end. And Inanis disappeared as well as the Judgment.”
Cyris sat down in a chair behind a desk, “What comes after, peace, and war. Nations divided, the Abyss rising again, and so do the Ajerians.”

He listened intently as he ate his food, Damn dude... you're fucking famous one way or another, aren't you? He thought to himself about Arix. When she finished he shook his head, "This is all gonna take a little getting used to... The place I came from, Arix was alive and kickin' ass..." He shook his head, "But that Inanis guy... he's just sick... I'd hate to see what would've happened if showed up in my world... I don't think there would've been anything left."
He began drinking his soup like a drink, he didn't notice how hungry he had become. He set the bowl down when he was finished, brushing his silver locks out of his eyes. He was kinda of curious, "So... how many generals have ya'll taken out so far?" As far as he knew, Devil May Cry was still struggling with all of them, and the council of legion were also up against them neck and neck.

“If you count Stolas and the Keeper, seven. We’re not doing a good job of hunting them as we’d like, but they only make theirselves present when Amon orders them to. So far, the Legion of the Damned has killed one, and I believe the Inanis has killed a couple as well,” she stroked the back of her head for a blissful moment then pushed her bowel aside, “Explain to me.
“You speak of Arix as well, you speak of another world. Where are you from? Obviously you’re an outsider, everyone knows of the story of Arix. I give you credit as well, the King of the Underworld, and an outsider? Verywell done.”

He brushed the back of his head lightly chuckling a bit, "Yeah... it's a really long story... You see, in my world, years ago demon king known as Mundus lead a campaign to take over the human realm, it went without a hitch and for a while, the demons ruled over the humans Until a demon so powerful he was once Mundus' right hand man rebelled and fought for the humans, and sealed away the demon world. This demon became known as the legendary dark knight Sparda" He took a sip from the drink placed in front of him, "That was about two thousand years ago. But time pasted, peace fell upon the human realm and Sparda vanished leaving the world two half-demon sons, twins even."
""I'll try to sum this up as quick as possible..." He took a breath, "I'm the son of the youngest twin, Dante. My real name is Anthony Redgrave but I've decided to go by an old alias." He took a sip from his drink, "Long story short, Dante was a devil hunter, He was out on a mission when demons attacked his home and kidnapped me, dragging me to the demon world when I was only ten." He took a slight pause, "I emerged from the demon world about ten years later. A totally changed person in a totally changed world. A world that was completely devastated by demons. Turns out my father abandoned the human realm and joined together six powerful demon lords and pulled a Mundus."
"After some asshole bashing, and getting sent to the demon world again by my technical grandfather on my mother's side, The No Life King... I came back and that's when I met Arix for the first time." He paused for a moment, knowing the Airx of this world was a bit different than his. "The Arix from my world was a part time Rock star, like... literally, He was still Ajerian though, we fought on several occasions though, once even against each other, but that was more of him smashing a wooden guitar over my head because of a desk..." He light up a cigarette and set the pack on the table, making sure not to get any of the smoke near Cyris.
"Then the abyss came, unlocked by a member of the council, we were informed soon after their onslaught by Dante that the member was an Ajerian by the name of Damien Latest." The took a drag from his cigarette before continuing, "The keeper took his goon squad and attacked us with a surprise attack, well, he attacked Devil May Cry and I was in the area, figuring they needed help I joined in on the fray as the keeper was kicking their asses."
he took a slight pause, "The keeper kicked our asses, literally taking anything and everything we threw at him and eating it like a cake. He forced a retreat, and that was the last I saw of Arix, after words I had to deal with the keeper stealing my demonic and vampiric power, and being nearly human..." He needed to get to the point quickly, "Well it turned out, after over hearing from some goons working for the council of Legion, the Dante that lead the council wasn't actually Dante... The real Dante was imprisoned in the worst layer of hell, having his energy and essence slowly drained off. So, I informed a friend of mine and Dante's, then got equipped, then headed out in search for him."
"In my weakened condition, returning to the demon realm only granted , by the time I got to Dante, I was barely able to strife off a set of wraiths that attacked, in one shot I had managed to free Dante, channeling the last of my strength into him. He was free, he killed the wraiths, and then all I remember was everything fading to black, a voice, a light, then I ended up in the Underworld of this realm, my abilities restored." He smirked a bit, "I'm not really saying the underworld is a soft place, but compared to the demon world I lived in for ten years, it kind of felt like a walk in the park. But soon after I found out about the abyss kind of, and how there was now a fight for the throne. I figured whoever was fighting the abyss up here didn't need an extra thorn in the side, So I went where the battles were raging and took the fighters out, unintentionally becoming the King of the Underworld in the process and..." He unsheathed Ultima, showing it to Cryis. "Getting this p.o.s. of a sword." He stabbed it into the ground next to him, tossing out the cigarette butt, "I mean, it's an enchanted demon sword... but compared to the devil arms in my world... it just sucks... Anyways, that's my story."

“I see,” she paused for a moment looking at her desk for a long long few seconds. Finally she snapped back, “I never actually thought to use my power to look past the void of this realm, I didn’t figure there were parallel lines. This is something I’ll probably look into. How exciting.”
Cyris opened the door to the drawer and pulled out a pack of sour punch straws, she opened it and pulled one out then offered some to Daikus, she had a horrible sweet tooth, “So from what you tell me, Arix exists in your realm, as does the Spokesman of Insanity. I expect that there’s a more conventional way to getting to these realms.”
She was lost in thought.

"I really wouldn't know," Said taking one of the candies she offered him and popping it in his mouth, "I guess I only got here by a fluke, but if there is a rift somewhere... then it'd prolly be in the Esper layer where I died... don't know why... it's just creepy there." He paused, "Maybe, maybe not. I don't know what happened after I freed Dante, for all I know... the world I came from may not be the same one I left behind." He shrugged, "I only say this because of the fact of how many odds have been placed against the good guys there... If they all manage to over come, then I'll straight up be shocked."
He shook his head, "So..." he began trying to change the subject, he wasn't going to admit it, but the more he talked about his world... the more he felt he had abandoned it by being resurrected here, which meant he had to do something for the good guys here. "Anything I need to know before I start jumping into battles?"

“Yes. Don’t fall behind. The Ajerians work at one pace. Most complain it’s difficult to keep up, but you get the hang of it. In fact, I’m about to campaign toward camp Berith. You’re welcome to come, we’ll be leaving in about 30 minutes give or take,” she said eating another one of the candies and drumming her fingers against the desk.
“But if you’re going to be with us, you must follow the guidelines. We see eye to eye with the Legion of the Damned, as they are the bastard child of the Remnants of the Damned. I advise also staying away from Amon, and be on the lookout for the Spokesman of Insanity, he doesn’t target check.” Cyris stood up and tucked her chair under the desk. She took up her soup bowel in one hand and her candy in the other hand.

"Gotcha, keeping up shouldn't be much of a problem. Neither should any of the other stuff." He stood up as well, putting Ultima back into the sheath, his hand still on the handle for a second. feel like I'm gonna break this damn thing... He gave her a slight bow, The thing that was going to be hard to get used to the most... was going to be working side by side with a person who in his world... was part of the council of Legion. "If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna try and scout out the training grounds."

"Very well," she said moving around the desk and out the front flap of the tent. She handed the bowel back to the woman serving the food and thanked her then moved along the grounds to where Yion was on the edge of the sparring area. Yion had Stolas's lance in his hand looking it over making sure not to miss a single detail.
"We'll be leaving out soon to hunt Berith," Yion nodded to her, "What's the skinny on the weapon?"
Yion lowered his hood, he was pale skinned but a lot of his body was cybernetic, his eyes had a eerie blue hue to them and he had several ports across his body. His jaw was missing replaced by a single glowing blue port. When he spoke it was mechanical, "This weapon is unlike any I've seen before. Created outside the boundries of this world, possibly in the void of the Underworld or something different. It channels fire that dwarfs the heat of the sun by ten fold."
She took another candy from the pack and ate it, "Then I suppose it's too dangerous to weild?"
"Much too dangerous. It's a suicide weapon."
