Tori didn't have the time to even registered what she did. The next thing she knew the man was dead and another person came onto the field, and judging by her equipment and armor (I'm going to assume you're wearing armor) this woman had no affiliation with the men who were here previously. Tori didn't put her guns away either, instead she kept them out in case she needed them again. "Who the fuck are you?" Ill-mannered till the end.

Tactless. This woman was truly tactless. Killing a man and then spewing such filth from her mouth? Alexis didn't know why this stranger killed the man but her instincts were telling her she was no good. And as a soldier she needed to trust her instincts.
"Alexis Malaware, soldier of the Ajerian."
Alexis introduced herself while slowly approaching the body and Zira who were a good several feet away from the brunette's position. Getting a clear look on his face Alexis could match his appearance to the description the elderly woman gave her back at Fallon Square. Terrible, Alexis was going to have to go back and tell the woman that her son was dead. Alexis looked back to the brunette with anger in her eyes.
"You killed someone's son!"

Malaware? What kind of a fucking name was Malaware? Tori shook that thought because it didn't matter right now. This woman only knew a very small part of the story and it was time to fill her in on the rest, but that was when Alexis looked at her with anger in her eyes and Tori had a feeling she may not listen to reason. You killed someone's son! "Boo fucking hoo! The man had it coming."

Ajerian? The army.... Oh god this was just getting worse and worse. Zira stood up and backed away as Alexis made her advanced to the corpse. Returning back to Tori's position she stood in front of her and shook her head, trying to tell Tori with her eyes alone that this wasn't anybody they needed to pick a fight with.

"And what, pray tell, gives you the authority to make that kind of a judgment?"
Alexis took one step further but kept her distance from the woman wielding two pistols. Her right hand rubbed across the hilt of her sword as her eyes were deadlock on the brunette, not quite yet sure what to make of the other woman.

Tori shoved Zira out of the way, but not hard enough that she would fall on her ass or anything. Just to get her out of the way. Tori wasn't in the mood, just WAS NOT in the mood. "By the fact he set up an ambush, threatened our lives for no good reason and talked about raping me, that's what gives me the authority now I suggest you leave that sword of yours in your sheathe and back off!"

Alexis took another look at the body, no weapon in sight and the nearest one was a couple a feet away next to where she was standing now. There was also if she was counting right six bullets in the body. A little extreme in her opinion. Alexis then looked back to the brunette, not sure whether to believe her claims or not. "Even so, was it really necessary to shoot him six times?"

"I'm getting sick and tired of your questions, Malaware. Now unless you can tell me where I can go that's safe and has a ship I can board we're leaving." Tori put one gun away, ready to turn and tell Zira to keep moving but it would be nice to have somebody that speaks actually relay some information to her. Being out in the desert with a mute wasn't exactly pleasant.

"Deal with it," retorted Alexis. "Because I'm not letting you two go anywhere, especially not another city, until you answer my question. Right now your innocence is still fairly questionable."
Alexis matched the woman's movement, ready to draw her sword if need be and intercept her desired path. This was the last woman she wanted wandering around near Fallon Square, even though Alexis had faith the paladins could easily take her she didn't want to risk another possible innocent dying by her hands on the way to Fallon Square. Not until she knew for sure the woman was really stable.

Tori saw where Alexis' hand was and in response she aimed the .40S&W that was still in her hand and aimed the pistol at her ready to fire. "I can shoot you before you even get the chance to draw it. Not to mention before you get within striking distance so don't even try." That was the problem when it came to swords. You had to be up close and personal to use it. With a gun you can get your licks in from afar, if you were a good shot anyway. Tori was a good show, lucky for her, unlucky for Alexis. "We're not the enemy here."

Alexis removed the hand from her hilt and took a step back. With very little options available to her right now Alexis had no other choice but to let them go. For now. But this wasn't the end, not by a long shot.
"You're doing a banged up job of showing me you're not.... Go on then!"
The warrior felt gutted. Stop dead in her tracks before she could get anywhere.

"Good girl." Tori put her second pistol away and began to walk, turning her back on the Ajerian soldier. If the woman really was as good as she made herself out to be then she would attack them with their backs turn. That would be dishonorable for anyone, especially a soldier. Tori knew right away with a feeling in her gut that this wouldn't be the last time they would cross paths. Hopefully the second encounter would prove better than the first. "Lead the way, Sparks."
