Well so much for that idea. Maricul leaped back into the smoke surrounding the area they were fighting in, now becoming one with her familiars which were still concealed inside looking for the right time to strike. Spiderweb would shoot out from the Spider Familiars from all angles at The Blind Assassin, looking to bind her in their web, to leave her completely helpless and at their mercy.

Fukari blade would only cut through air as The Blind Assassin came to a stop while Maricul retreated into the smoke. A single shuriken was thrown into the smoke but she could hear the spiderweb covering it up rendering it useless. SURPRISE! Fukari threw down a smoke bomb and now covered in smoke The Blind Assassin drew in at point blank range to Maricul, swinging her Katana in one hand, but while this allowed her to get close she couldn't avoid the web that began to cover her body.

Interesting. The half breed was able to force her way into Maricul's hiding place and get in range to strike with her blade, yet the spiderweb had subdued her, the power of the web bringing her down to the ground and now entirely at her mercy. Grinning Maricul got on top of the fallen Assassin and tore off the head area of the spiderweb, exposing her neck. Not much she could do with the rest of her body now covered in web.
"The spider claims the fly trapped in her web."
Maricul opened her mouth and the fangs came plunging down on The Blind Assassin's neck to drink her blood.

"Which one of us is the spider?"
Her question would soon be answered when the silver grenade she placed in The Serpent's pocket earlier during her last attack exploded

Maricul would only have time to look at her, not even able to taste her sweet, sweet half devil blood before the explosion erupted. The Seductress bent her head back and let out a mighty roar of pain as her body was burned back by the silver, ripping her apart and opening up wounds as she fell off the half breed and rolled across the ground. The familiars inside her bloodstream would react again, looking to heal their mistress but these wounds would take longer, longer than she had being so close to her opponent. Needing to heal would have dispatched the spiderweb, the smoke and the familiars that were on standby waiting to attack.
The Serpent could not describe the amount of hate burning in her soul for The Blind Assassin as she continued to regenerate. Staying in this battle didn't seem like such a good idea now. The risk of death was becoming greater and this woman was no ordinary woman, even by half breed standards. Swallowing her pride Maricul got up to her feet and retreated, but as she fled the area one problem still remained.
She was still def.

The spiderweb covering her body would be more than enough to shield her from the blast, and her demon abilities would do the rest for her exposed head and neck. As the explosion went it's course Fukari grinned in victory, feeling the burn, Maricul's burn, across her neck and cheek. Her demon half getting a sick and twisted satisfaction from it all, laughing during the heat of the moment. Maricul was off of her now and the spiderweb that has done such a good job of protecting her faded away. Just in time for her own healing abilities to kick in and close up the wounds on her face and neck.
By the time The Blind Assassin got up to her feet she didn't hear, smell or sense the vampire anywhere. She had gone, retreated, fell back to regroup. Fukari managed to force the legendary Spider Queen into a swift retreat but she failed the task of taking her life. That meant there was still a job to be done. And soon this place would be crawling with Abyss to investigate what happened here. No name on her part would be known any time soon but as she went on her way she knew they would uncover one thing about this battle.
It was a massacre.
