Never knowing a last cry destined to bleed
Character Description - Zira is a silent woman who finds herself pulled in the middle of a warzone as the Legion of Abyss attacks her city and kills off her loved ones. Armed with nothing more than her lighter, a flamethrower and the clothes on her back Zira stands before you at 5'6, 117lbs, long black hair and brown eyes and on top of that an athletic figure but still not prepared for the nightmare that is slowly unfolding itself all around her.
Character Abilities - Zira was taught how to brawl by her uncle but her eyes are still green as far as real combat goes. She understands the basics: punch your foe hard enough in the face they fall back and then punch you, if you have a gun of some kind aim your shot along and shoot the guy trying to kill you, have a knife or anything that is pointy and sharp stab your attacker repeatedly in the face until they stop moving. Her refusal to speak makes communication with anybody difficult.
Character Alignment - Good.

History - Brought up in the capital city of the Atillian continent, Zira Firestone was raised by two very loving parents that only wanted the best for her and they bonded as closely as a child and their parents could. One day at the age of 10 Zira was playing with fire and accidentally burnt down her own house. The sight saw the survivor of Zira Firestone but both her parents ended up dying in the fire she started. Blaming herself and the lighter she was playing with Zira took a vow of silence and refused to speak to anyone for any reason until she could redeem herself for being responsible for her parents death.
As you can probably already imagine life for the next 11 years would not be an easy one. Kids made fun of her for her silence, Zira's remaining family found it difficult to communicate, especially since she wouldn't write or learn sign language as an alternate method of communication. Not knowing how else to reach the child they made her take therapy but results were far and few between. Body language became the main way her aunt and uncle could speak with her and know what she wanted.
Life returned to normal, by Jerico's standards at least, until they came when she reached 21. In great numbers, organized well and ruthless to the core the Legion of Abyss attacked Jerico and the scum of the earth stood up to fight against it. The battle would see the death of her remaining family. Overcame by pure rage Zira Firestone took her uncle's sword and charged the Abyss force moving in. A suicide charge motivated by grief that would have surely saw the young woman's death until a hero from the east came.
Tearing through a torrent of Abyss soldiers with her bullets a woman came to the aid of Zira and halted what would otherwise have been another death by the hands of the Abyss, retreating to higher grounds via rooftops the stranger gave Zira a suitable weapon for her, but something nobody that knew Zira long enough would have ever given her. A flamethrower. After a one sided conversation between the two Zira found herself jumping rooftops and being forced to fight these Abyss soldiers just to survive while hardly having enough time to even grieve the lost of her aunt and uncle. As the fight was just about to come to a head the only thing Zira could think about was what the woman said after arming her. "Don't fuck up!"
Gates of fire come back brutality beat down
Role play Sample - Sample of a recent RP from another site.
This past month have been filled with trials and tribulations for the Firebird Zira Firestone. For the past month she have entered a match being conceived as the underdog in each and every single one of them. Yet one by one she managed to pick up a victory against former world champions and just this past week she picked up another victory for not only herself but her teammate Doctor Cube. After their back and forth during her first week on the job it was strange to call Doctor Cube her tag team partner but after that match, even if trust issues remain between the two of them, Zira Firestone have managed to develop a new found respect for her old rival.
There seem to be much debate going on with the ways Zira have been winning her matches since signing on to the roster. Every match that had her name on it ended with a fireball to the face for somebody, and even Zira herself was beginning to doubt whether or not she could beat somebody without the flames from her lighter. Both the fans and the general manager didn't seem to care about the way she won her matches, and every person that received the fireball deserved it at the time. Yet it was something that bothered the Firebird and made her stomach turn, was she really incapable of winning a match without the fireballs? It was the roar of the crowd that led her to do it every time, and the roar of the crowd is a hard thing to ignore.
Everybody was wanting her to win, everybody was wanting her to become Champion of the company and make history as the first woman to ever hold a world title in wrestling. People who ran into her on the street, mainly other women, talked about how much they looked up to her. It was a shame that somebody like herself, who set things on fire and made you believe she could breathe fire was a role model to anyone but that was how this cookie crumbled. Nobody wanted her to lose and nobody wanted to see somebody else end the streak. The match itself was being billed as a streak against a streak but unlike her racist opponent James Gibson, Zira Firestone didn't care about streaks. Zira Firestone cared about putting men like him in their place so even if she doesn't win, as long as the man gets what he deserves that all that mattered to Zira.
So why was she here? On the second floor of a three floored building in an office, sitting down on a black leather couch playing with her lighter, the heat coming from it being the only heat in the room as across from her was a long gray chair and a woman in a dark gray suit, brunette with round glasses on her sky blue eyes and a concerned look on her face. Why was she here when the only thing on her mind at the moment was putting James Gibson in his place? The answer was simple, her only remaining family encouraged her to seek counseling and the woman standing across from her was the shrink trying to get inside of her mind and unlock the secrets of her past. Why does she carry a lighter everywhere she goes, why does she feel compelled to hit people with fireballs and most of all, the reasoning behind her being a mute.
The Councilor
My apologies for the conditioning of the room.
My apologies for the conditioning of the room.
Spoke the shrink at long last.
The Councilor
Our heater isn't currently functioning at the moment. I hope you're warm enough.
Our heater isn't currently functioning at the moment. I hope you're warm enough.
Zira gave the shrink her usual blank stares before looking back to the lighter, turning it on and off and fighting off the cold with its flames. There was one reason Zira Firestone always carried a lighter, to provide heat when it was lacking in whatever building she was in at the time.
The Councilor
I know you don't want to be here. You don't need to speak for me to understand that. But I was hoping we could continue where we left off before.
I know you don't want to be here. You don't need to speak for me to understand that. But I was hoping we could continue where we left off before.
The Councilor finally took a seat in her chair while Zira head turned to face the big window found on the right side of the room.
The Councilor
Two weeks ago when you were being interviewed by Ayanna Kaktas you had an emotional response when she insulted your parents. Care to explain why to me?

Zira looked back over to the Councilor while the grip on her lighter began to tighten a little at the memory of what Ayanna said about her parents. After a couple of seconds went by the Firebird stood up from her seat and walked over to the large window in order to enjoy the view from up here.
The Councilor
I know your inability to talk doesn't come from a disability so is it something emotionally driven? Were you very close with your parents, Ms. Firestone?
I know your inability to talk doesn't come from a disability so is it something emotionally driven? Were you very close with your parents, Ms. Firestone?
So the big secret was finally out and it wouldn't be long now until the whole world knows. Zira Firestone could speak but chose not to. Now the question remaining was why? Why choose to take a vow of silence instead of having your voice heard to the masses? Why choose to be quiet even when it made interacting with people that much harder and as evident from last week create huge misunderstandings?
The Councilor
Ms. Firestone? I know it can be hard to open up but rest assured that anything you say here will remain confidential.
Ms. Firestone? I know it can be hard to open up but rest assured that anything you say here will remain confidential.
Confidential? That was a laugh. Zira knew that cameras from WCL was probably already hidden in the room recording all of this in order to show it on the tron at a live Wildfire show. If they could follow her to a rooftop they could follow her here.
The Councilor
So I'll ask again. Were you very close with your parents?
So I'll ask again. Were you very close with your parents?
About as close as a child can be with their folks. Zira turned her head slightly and nodded in order to answer the question, still refusing to utter a single word.
The Councilor
Your uncle told me that they both died while you were still young. Is that correct?
Your uncle told me that they both died while you were still young. Is that correct?
Again Zira nodded.
The Councilor
That must have been very hard for you. Ms. Firestone, did you turn to fire as a means to help you deal with losing your parents?
That must have been very hard for you. Ms. Firestone, did you turn to fire as a means to help you deal with losing your parents?
Zira nodded and shook her head in response to the question.
The Councilor
Yes and no? What do you mean?
Yes and no? What do you mean?
There was no more concealing it. Zira took out a newspaper from her black leather jacket and turned around to once again face her shrink. As she unfolded the paper you could see that it was a local newspaper from Cleveland and on the front page came the words "Mr. & Mrs. Firestone die in tragic fire!" further on down was a picture of a ten year old Zira Firestone with the words "Ten year old daughter takes vow of silence." The Firebird handed it over to the shrink and she immediately sat up and readjusted her glasses to look it over closely while Zira resumed playing with her lighter.
The Councilor
Mr. and Mrs. Firestone die in tragic fire? That's your connection to fire? It killed your parents?
Mr. and Mrs. Firestone die in tragic fire? That's your connection to fire? It killed your parents?
Zira neither nodded nor shook her head this time, there was no need. The Firebird only stared at the shrink with her usual blank expression as she was already solving the mystery now for the world to see.
The Councilor
Ten year old daughter takes vow of silence. My god you haven't spoken a single word for the past eleven years. But why? And what started the fire?
Ten year old daughter takes vow of silence. My god you haven't spoken a single word for the past eleven years. But why? And what started the fire?
The Councilor would soon answer her own question as she paused at the sight of the lighter which Zira began to flicker on and off. The lighter that Zira would never let out of her sight, the same lighter that was responsible for the losses of Doctor Cube, Jimmy James and James Gibson/Stephanie McMahon Helmsley, was the same lighter that caught her house on fire and killed her parents. Zira was a mute not because of disability or to be different, but because Zira felt she didn't deserve to speak and as the Firebird flicked the lighter one more time everything went black.
